Point Ubac is one of the sites at the entrance to the Raša Bay on the open sea. The coastline is rocky and sheer and there are numerous holes and large rocks. Visibility depends on the flow of the Raša River. The bay is suitable for all categories of divers, as well as night dives. Maximum depth along the coastline is 25 m.
A strange species of fish – the Adriatic stonefish is to be found among the small rocks. This is also home, nursery and playground to schools of small fish. There is more silt and sand on the seabed in the channel, so marine life is scarcer. Sea creatures include golden anemones and sea cucumbers, spiny starfish, red-mouthed gobies and rainbow wrasse.
